The History of 6M Christian Academy
6M Christian Academy was founded in 2025 by a Rwandan-American family — a couple with their four children, making them 6 people sharing the same last name Musonera (“6M”) living in the United States of America.
The family was driven by a vision to provide children with an education that nurtures not only the mind, but also the body and soul. Beginning with three nursery/pre-school classrooms — including the baby classroom, the middle classroom, and the top classroom — the school was built on the conviction that true education must go beyond textbooks to shape character, cultivate talent, and deepen faith.
The Musonera Family Legacy
“6M” represents the 6 members of the Musonera family — the parents and their four children residing in the USA — uniting Rwandan roots with global educational aspirations to bless young learners with world-class foundations.
From Nursery Roots to Primary Expansion
Over the past year, 6M Christian Academy has expanded rapidly from nursery into primary school while remaining anchored in its founding mission.
Three Nursery Levels
Started with foundational early years: the Baby Class, Middle Class, and Top Class.
Primary Expansion (Grade 1)
Grown from nursery into a primary school with Grade 1 (P1), expanding campus, curriculum, and reach.
School Football Team
Established our official School Soccer/Football Team to discover and develop students' God-given athletic talents.
USA Visitors & Exchange
Celebrated nursery graduations, welcomed visiting educators from the USA, and broke ground on modern new facilities.
Future Campus Infrastructure
Our modern campus in Muyumbu is thoughtfully designed to provide spacious, sunlit classrooms, dedicated recreation grounds, sports pitches, and safe social spaces where children flourish intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
Currently under progressive construction, the new campus grounds reflect our long-term commitment to providing the highest quality educational environment for Rwandan families.
