School Uniform & Dressing Guidelines: Fostering Discipline, Unity & Modesty

At 6M Christian Academy, our school uniform is a symbol of our shared Christian identity, discipline, unity, and mutual respect. Wearing a neat and complete uniform instills a sense of belonging and helps pupils focus on their academic, spiritual, and physical growth.

All parents and guardians are requested to ensure their children adhere to the following dress code and grooming standards throughout the academic term.

1. Daily Classroom Uniform

The official 6M Christian Academy uniform set (provided through school administration) is worn Monday through Thursday for all regular classroom sessions:

• Nursery Pupils (Baby, Middle, Top Classrooms):
  • Official school uniform top / polo with academy crest.
  • Official school shorts / skirt.
  • Clean closed-toe school shoes with socks.
  • An extra labeled change of clothes kept in the school bag for toddlers.
• Primary Pupils (Grade One Onward):
  • Official school shirt / blouse with embroidered academy logo.
  • Official school trousers / skirts (knee length).
  • Clean and polished school shoes with socks.
  • Official school sweater / cardigan for cooler morning weather.

2. Sports & Athletic Training Wear (Fridays & PE Days)

Physical wellness, physical education, and soccer academy training are core components of life at 6M Christian Academy. On designated sports days and Friday training sessions:

• Official 6M Christian Academy athletic sports jersey and shorts.
• Clean sports sneakers or soccer cleats suitable for athletic training.
• Athletic sports socks.
• Personal labeled refillable water bottle for proper hydration during drills.

3. General Grooming & Hygiene Standards

• Clean & Ironed Attire: Uniforms must be clean, neatly ironed/pressed, free of tears, and clearly labeled with the pupil's full name on the inner tag.
• Neat & Well-Groomed Hair: Hair must be clean, combed, and neatly trimmed. For girls, simple neat hair accessories are welcome.
• Polished Footwear: School shoes must be cleaned and polished regularly. Shoes must be closed-toe for playground and campus safety.
• Modesty & Safety: In keeping with Christian modesty and child safety, only simple stud earrings for girls are permitted. No loose jewelry or toys.

4. Uniform Sourcing & Fittings

Official uniform sets, sports jerseys, sweaters, and replacement items are provided directly through our school administration desk in Muyumbu.
