The Founding Heritage of 6M Christian Academy: A Journey of Faith, Family & Excellence
6M Christian Academy was founded in 2025 out of a deep calling to serve God and the community by establishing a premier educational institution where young children can grow intellectually, spiritually, and physically.
The academy was birthed by the Musonera family — six individuals sharing one heartbeat of faith and commitment to Christ-centered education:

- Yancey Musonera — Son & Visiting Educator / USA
- Dempsey Musonera — Son & Soccer Head Coach (Seacoast United / MLS Next)
- Reece Musonera — Son & Founding Family Member
- Elsie Musonera — Daughter & Founding Family Member
Having lived in the United States and experienced world-class educational and youth athletic systems, the Musonera family felt called to invest back into Rwanda by creating an institution in the beautiful hillside neighborhood of Muyumbu, Rwamagana District (Eastern Province).
Our Educational Philosophy
At 6M Christian Academy, education is more than academic instruction — it is the holistic formation of the entire child:
- Intellectual Growth: A dual-system curriculum combining the rigorous Rwandan national standards with advanced American educational methodologies and visiting international faculty.
- Spiritual Nurture: Daily morning devotions, scripture memorization, prayer routines, and Christian mentorship embedded in every classroom.
- Physical & Athletic Development: Professional soccer training led by MLS Next coaching staff, choir and music instructors, and active outdoor play.
Rooted in the Muyumbu Community
Located in Akinyambo Village, Akubugingo Cell, Muyumbu Sector (just 15 minutes by car from Kabuga center and under 2 km from Rugende center), 6M Christian Academy provides a secure, peaceful, and inspiring green campus where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to excel.
